Canberra PC Repair is a small local operation covering the ACT. Same person on the phone, same person at your door, and the same person who actually does the work.
Most people find us after a frustrating run somewhere else: a phone queue that went nowhere, a quote for a new machine when the old one only needed a $90 drive, or a repair that came back with the same fault a fortnight later.
So the approach is deliberately plain. We diagnose for free, quote a fixed price, explain what's actually wrong in normal language, and tell you when something isn't worth repairing — even though that means no work for us.

What if you can't fix it?
You don't pay. If a repair isn't economical we'll tell you that plainly and help you work out what to replace it with — including what to buy and where, with no commission in it for us.
Do you come to me, or do I drop it off?
Either. Software problems, virus removal, wi-fi and setup jobs are usually done onsite while you watch. Hardware repairs, data recovery and custom builds go to the workshop, and we collect and return at no extra charge anywhere in Canberra.
Will you look through my files?
Only where the job needs it, and we'll tell you first. Nothing gets copied off your device. If a password is needed you type it in yourself, and you can watch every step of a remote session.
How quickly can you come out?
Most onsite jobs are same or next day. Urgent business problems we try to reach within a few hours. Ring and we'll tell you honestly what's available today.
Do you work on Macs?
Yes for software, data recovery, backups, networking and setup. For out-of-warranty logic board repairs on newer Apple hardware we'll point you to a specialist rather than pretend otherwise.
How do I pay?
Card or tap on the spot, or bank transfer afterwards. A tax invoice comes by email either way. Business accounts can be set up on 7-day terms.
